Hong Kong Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower
Standing in the Hong Kong Cultural Center Piazza in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower in front 44 meters high, with red brick and granite was constructed, each equipped with four clock tower clock. The bell tower is part of the old Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon-Canton Railway Station, the clock tower was built in 1915 and has been listed as monuments in Hong Kong.
Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon-Canton Railway Station was built in 1913, as part of the equipment and devices ordered from the United Kingdom because of the relationship between the First World War, failed to arrive on time in Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui train station was forced to shelve the project inside. Until March 28, 1916, Tsim Sha Tsui train station was officially opened. Tsim Sha Tsui train station clock tower was completed in 1915, due to the improper arrangement works, weighing a ton bell inside the clock tower chime installation began in 1920, and operations began in March 1921. KCR train station moved to its present site in 1978, while the old train station in Tsim Sha Tsui also been demolished, leaving only part of the bell tower.
