10月3日，汕梅高速上一辆山东牌照拖挂车运载的肉牛意外挣脱两头，跳到车流滚滚的高速路面，汕梅高速路政员及时发现处置，避免造成严重后果。

两头牛窜出高速

民警紧急救援

当天17时，汕梅路政一中队接到监控通知， 汕昆高速汕头方向K7+260m有两头牛掉落路面，严重影响路面行车安全。接警后，当值路政员火速赶到现场，并立即设置安全区域、引导现场过往车辆安全有序通行。

路政员与到达现场的交警化身“斗牛士”合力围堵，帮助急得一筹莫展的车主追回掉落的牛，并缚于安全区域等待救援单位工作人员到场，成功避免因牛随意走动造成交通事故。

17时46分，在粤运拯救的援助下，“越狱”牛得以重新装载运离高速，路面安全隐患消除。

运载车辆司机表示，两头牛是因装载不当掉落路面，自我检讨的同时，还阵阵后怕。现场交警对司机进行了严肃批评。
