Hong Kong Airport Core Programme Exhibition Centre
Airport Core Programme Exhibition Centre is located in New Territories, Hong Kong Ting Kau, Castle Peak Road, No. 401, is one of "the Hong Kong Airport Core Program" as the theme of the exhibition, was opened in 1996 by the New Airport Projects Co-ordination Office management and operation. The department in 1998 after the dissolution of the exhibition center handed over management Tsuen Wan District Office Home Affairs Department.
Airport Core Program Exhibition Center has five exhibition areas, with models, photographs and text panels and other presentation "Hong Kong Airport Core Program" in the ten core project, so that visitors have a comprehensive understanding of the whole project. Outside the exhibition center erected a "monument to the dead workers in Hong Kong", in memory of 49 workers who died during construction of the new Hong Kong International Airport, and 2,291 workers in 1989 to 1998 due to industrial accidents tragically lost their lives. The rooftop garden is located outside the observation deck with a telescope and center for visitors to enjoy views of the Tsing Ma Bridge and surroundings.
Building history
Airport Core Program Exhibition Center on the site of Homi Park (Homi Villa), known as the white-storey villa built in the early 1930s treatment by the Indian businessman J · H · Rutton, when Hong Kong Brewery Co., Ltd.
